"Hale I Lani Wai" or the "House of the Heavenly Waters" sits on Mai'li Point, one of Oahu's most beautiful and scenic sites.

Settled by one of the first white families on the islands, Mai'li Point was selected for its abundant waters, dry weather, and scenic sites. Year around the property remains one of Oahu's premiere ocean front properties.

The waters off the front yard still teem with sea life and tropical fish. Every day fishermen use rod & reel, "Hawaiian Slings," and native Hawaiians use traditional nets to bring in bounties of fish. These abundant waters offer a selection of tropical fish, whales, seals, and sea turtles. Please remember, the turtles, whales and seals remain protected species and individuals must maintain a distance of at least 30 feet. Everyone can experience snorkeling footsteps from the house.

The Westside of Oahu is known as the "dry" side of the island where rainfall is less than Los Angeles. This means it rarely rains on the property giving days of perfect weather, full of sunshine and Hawaiian trade winds.

Regardless of the time of year, sunsets are a nightly ritual. Every sunset means the end of a splendid island day. As the sun disappears, the excitement of a different sunset can only be described as a private experience. From the first time you share a sunset with someone special, you will understand why the first settlers chose Mai'li Point.

Hale I Lani Wai remained with the descendants of the original white settlers until the mid '70s when a Hollywood leading actor acquired the property. He held the property for some 27 years, calling Mai'li Point his "favorite spot on the islands". Mai'li Point was acquired by its present owners in 2003. The property's secluded location provides a relaxing and peaceful setting . Once the main gate closes, the privileges of your own beach front home, private beach and unsurpassed views of one of Hawaii's most beautiful bays become apparent.

Try surfing in front of the house where thigh to double overhead waves offer short boarders, long boarders and body boarders the rides to maneuver in a long left wall on south and southwest swells. While Mai'li Point's best surfing occurs in the winter when the North Shore closes out, surfers frequent the Point's waters daily. Makaha Beach, one of the world's top 10 surfing beaches, is a short ten-minute drive from Hale I Lani Wai. JW Marriott's Ko Olina resort is also a ten-minute drive from the home. One of Hawaii's best spas can be found at the resort with everything to pamper the soul. If the spa isn't everyone's thing, the resort's 36 hole championship golf course will challenge even the best golfers. Try the man-made sea lagoons for calm water swimming and sandy beaches for sun bathing. The resort is open to all Hawaiian visitors. The Ritz Carlton will be opening on the property in the near future. Hawaii's best luau is held each night complete with entertainment and Hawaiian menu.

While restaurants abound, try cooking in the gourmet kitchen. Viking stove and professional cooking equipment satisfy even the most discerning chefs. The evenings provide temperate dining while the sound of dancing waves provides background music.

Experience Hale I Lani Wai and create memories that will live forever, your own private paradise within paradise. Aloha.
